Lisa A. Brzezicki
Lisa A. Brzezicki has been with ADVANCE since 1993, currently serving as editor of ADVANCE for Nurses South and ADVANCE for Nurses West. She previously worked as associate editor of ADVANCE for Administrators of the Laboratory and editor of ADVANCE for Medical Laboratory Professionals. Prior to joining ADVANCE, she was associate editor for the Catholic Library Association in Haverford, PA, and the special projects editor for Printing Impressions at North American Publishing Company in Philadelphia. She graduated from Cabrini College with a BA in English/Communications.

Pamela Tarapchak
Pamela Tarapchak has been with ADVANCE since 1998. Currently, she serves as editor of ADVANCE for Nurses Mid-Atlantic & Lower Great Lakes and ADVANCE for Nurses Midwest. She previously worked for sister publication ADVANCE for Administrators of the Laboratory. She graduated from Penn State University in 1991 with a BA in journalism. Prior to joining ADVANCE, she worked for 8 years at Penn State in various public relations roles.

Matthew T. Patton
A 1999 graduate of the University of Kentucky at Lexington, Matthew T. Patton has a bachelor of arts degree in journalism with a focus on minority studies and is currently editor of ADVANCE for Medical Laboratory Professionals. Prior to joining ADVANCE, he was an editor at the executive office of a professional laboratory association. A history buff, he also has published several genealogical and historical publications, including a history of his hometown in Kentucky. Matthew has garnered several writing awards, including a Sy Ramsey Associated Press Reporting and Writing award as well as an APEX Award for Editorial Excellence.

Jonathan Bassett
Jonathan Bassett has covered the rehabilitation fields for ADVANCE since 2000, serving as managing editor for both ADVANCE for Physical Therapy & Rehab Medicine, and the former monthly ADVANCE for Directors in Rehabilitation. He is an ASHPE-award winning writer who covers legislative, clinical and business management topics, and maintains key alliances with healthcare associations and industry leaders. Jonathan earned a bachelor’s degree from Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in English from Villanova University. He is a member of the American Medical Writers Association.
