Company Description Home Healthcare Services Company Job Description The Home Health Aide: Provides personal care services per state/federal rules, regulations, and/or standards Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics to the performance of specific techniques of personal and supportive care such as ambulation of clients, transferring clients, assisting with the normal range of motion and positioning and doing household chores Prepares and provides medically prescribed nutrition and fluid intake Accurately documents care provided and submits notes and other required documents per agency policy Attends agency provided in-service programs to fulfill requirements of position and agency policies Follows specific written instructions for personal care prepared by a registered nurse in accordance with the Plan of Care Applies learned information to job duties Assists patient with prescribed exercises as instructed per Nurse or Therapist Required Skills 2+ years of full-time direct, Patient Care experience; 1+ year of Home Care experience High School Graduate or equivalent Current CPR certification Solid assessment and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
