Job Description: Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Medical Technologist - Registered MT or registry eligible with one year experience preferred. Experience in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, microbiology, phlebotomy and computer systems desired. This is a generalist rotator position involving multiple departments and shifts, including weekend and holiday rotations. Must be able to work both independently and in a team setting. Excellent customer service skills are essential as we instill confidence in the public with every encounter. Phlebotomy includes drawing blood from newborns, infants, children, and adults. Minimum Education Bachelors Degree in an appropriate science field. Minimum Work Experience Zero to six months of specifically related experience; knowledge in the areas of quality improvement, quality control, equipment maintenance and laboratory safety is desired. Required Licenses/Certifications Medical Technologist Certification or eligibility. Technical certification by an appropriate laboratory agency within one year of hire into the position. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Complies with regulatory requirements, OSHA/VOSHA Standard Precautions; practices personal and hospital safety and complies with confidentiality policy. Communicates patient information to physicians, office staff, and hospital employees. Acts as clinical laboratory information resource to all customers groups. Ability to accurately transcribe and verbalize patient data. Requires between 1 and 10 Competency Checklist points. Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills. Medical Laboratory Technician - Performs, calculates and reports selected routine laboratory tests and helps maintain equipment. Recognizes abnormal results and instrument or quality control problems. Notifies supervisor and follows preset strategies to recheck these findings. Minimum Education AS Degree in related science field. Minimum Work Experience Zero to six months of specifically related experience; knowledge in the areas of quality improvement, quality control, equipment maintenance and laboratory safety is desired. Must have the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy. Responsible for providing excellent customer service and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results. Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program if hired after 2002. Preferred completion an AMA approved and accredited Radiology Technology program. Minimum Work Experience Prior experience or training in general abdomen ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts. Required Licenses/Certifications ARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible (must become certified within first year of employment), and must be scheduled to take or have already passed the ARDMS Sonography Principles and Instrumentation Exam. CPR certified. Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Job Description: EEG Technologist Under supervision, the EEG Technologist is responsible for the performance of standard and complex recordings to include pediatric and ambulatory EEGs and END's. Will cover both inpatient and outpatient studies. Minimum Education Associates degree in Health Sciences or equivalent experience. Completion of appropriate EEG or END training program and clinical experience as determined by institution. Minimum Work Experience 1 to 2 years prior EEG experience. Prior END experience preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Registry eligible in EEG; to be obtained within two years of employment. Registry credential in EP desired. Fulfills annual requirements for safety. CPR Certification. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Demonstrates working knowledge of EEG/END equipment. Demonstrates working knowledge of infection control. Demonstrates safe, knowledgeable practice skills based on theory and consistent with Policies and Procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills.

Job Description: Mammography Technologist Under supervision of a radiologist and direction of the Lead Mammography Technologist, competently performs imaging on all digital mammography equipment and assists in the stereo tactic biopsies. Responsible of radiographing and imaging protocols in mammography. Must have the ability to recognize plain film and digital anatomy. Responsible for general MQSA at the direction of the lead technologist. Responsible for providing service excellence and complying with hospital policies and procedures. Uses the RIS/PACS and HIS for proper recording of patient exams and dissemination of patient results. Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent Must have completed an approved and accredited Radiology Technology program Minimum Work Experience Recent, up to one year, hospital related experience. Digital Imaging and post processing PACS experience. Required Licenses/Certifications Must possess current Vt. state RT license CPR Certified Must obtain 24 ECE credits, in a two year period, for re-certification and licensure Mammography certified by ARRT or obtaining (must obtain within one year of employment) Bone Density certified by AART or obtaining (if performing Densitometry) Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Knowledge and ability to provide care based on physical and psychosocial development and safety issues related to patients of all age groups, including infant, child, adolescent, adult and geriatric. Job Description: Electrophysiology Technologist/ EP Tech - Boston We are looking for an Electrophysiology Technologist to work at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Boston. The Electrophysiology Tech responsibilities include: Prepare sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths and other medical instruments, Prepare sterile sites on patients, Offer technical support for Electrophysiologist during ablations, EP studies, cardio versions, cardiac device implants and explants, Operate Cryo ablation generator during atrial fibrillation ablations, Assist in the diagnoses of arrhythmias through the use of stimulators, Program thresholds for Medtronic, St. Jude and Boston Scientific pacemakers.
