The Electrophysiology Tech responsibilities include: Prepare sterile equipment, catheters, sheaths and other medical instruments, Prepare sterile sites on patients, Offer technical support for Electrophysiologist during ablations, EP studies, cardio versions, cardiac device implants and explants, Operate Cryo ablation generator during atrial fibrillation ablations, Assist in the diagnoses of arrhythmias through the use of stimulators, Program thresholds for Medtronic, St. Jude and Boston Scientific pacemakers.
