Tenure-Track Assistant Professor – Clinical Chemistry Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences, College of Health Sciences The University of Delaware Newark, Delaware We are seeking applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor Clinical Chemistry to begin Fall 2017. The successful candidate will have an earned doctoral degree, such as a Ph.D. in clinical chemistry or related biomedical science, relevant postdoctoral experience and documented productivity. Primary responsibilities for this position include teaching clinical chemistry courses, lecture and lab. Other teaching responsibilities include courses as needed in departmental undergraduate and/or graduate core curricula. The individual will be expected to develop and maintain an active, funded program of research, and participate in committee service within the university and profession. Active participation in the mentoring of undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. students is required. We seek a candidate who will complement our current strengths in research and teaching. Undergraduate teaching experience, especially in Clinical Chemistry, is desirable. Practical experience in the field of Clinical Chemistry and national certification (ASCP, NACB, ABCC) is strongly encouraged.
