However, they are also an integral part of patient admissions and serve as a liaison between patients and the medical staff. As such, patient registration associate jobs require excellent people and communication skills, as well as the adaptability and the ability to gather information quickly and accurately. The positions usually require a high school diploma. One to three years of experience is also preferred, although not required.
