HJF provides scientific, technical and programmatic support services to MHRP. Responsibilities: Performance of serological and immunological assays and specimen processing and rejection in accordance with laboratory SOPs, manufacturer guidelines and CAP/ FDA regulations. Ensures compliance with all QA program requirements and documents activities in accordance with established standards. Coordinates and performs validation of new assays, equipment, and materials as required with the HDRL QA Manager and the HDRL Laboratory Manager. Performs and documents all weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance on equipment required to perform assigned testing. Ensures the proper handling of samples in accordance with assigned SOPs including, but not limited to, proper data entry, specimen handling, storage and aliquoting of the specimens.
