This will include a diploma or final transcript. Position requirements: -Associates degree from an accredited Medical Laboratory Sciences Program required. -Registered or registry eligible as Medical Laboratory Technician as appropriate with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), Medical Laboratory Scientist with American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP BOR), or Medical Laboratory Technician with American Medical Technologists (AMT) required. Certification for 'Eligible' employees shall be acquired within one year from date of hire. -BLS required if direct patient care is provided. Job Summary/Purpose: Performs laboratory tests; interprets test results; documents and reports test results; maintains equipment, instruments, and tools. This position will be located in Gloucester Medical Arts, Gloucester, VA. It is part time, 24 hours per week, rotating shifts.
