The medical billing process plays an important role in maintaining the financial health of a practice. Medical billing specialists are responsible for submitting claims and billing patients, which makes them a hot commodity, because they are the people who make sure the entire medical staff gets paid.

Medical billing specialist jobs require detail oriented people who are good with math and data entry.
