Clinical pharmacists work with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals to solve medical issues through the therapeutic use of medication. By assessing patients, clinical pharmacists can evaluate the effectiveness of patients’ medications and determine whether prescribed medications are meeting patients’ needs.

As part of the patient’s healthcare team, clinical pharmacists usually have patient care privileges. This allows them to contribute directly to the medical decision-making process. They are responsible for finding untreated issues that could be improved with medication therapy and determining the effects of medications on patients’ health.

Although clinical pharmacist jobs are frequently found in hospitals, clinics and educational institutions, other healthcare environments, such as community pharmacies, doctors’ offices, long-term care facilities and more, also employ clinical pharmacists.

Whether you’re looking to break into the field or advance your career, you can find open clinical pharmacist positions at every level here at ADVANCE Healthcare Jobs.
