A premier health system in New Jersey is actively seeking a self-motivated and driven healthcare professional for a rewarding opportunity on their staff as an Infection Control Associate. In this role, the Infection Control Associate participates in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program following evidenced-based guidelines and regulatory requirements.

The Infection Control Associate:

  • Provides continuous monitoring of both community and hospital acquired infections
  • Collaborates with hospital administration, medical staff and related departments in the development of infection prevention policies and procedures
  • Performs other tasks as necessary
Required Skills
  • BSN
  • Active New Jersey State Registered Nurse license
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge
  • Polished and professional demeanor
  • 3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Patient-oriented
  • 3 years of experience in public health or as a Medical Technologist / ASCP member
  • 3 years of lab experience
