A Connecticut-based healthcare facility is currently seeking a highly organized Inventory Clerk for a promising position with their growing Operating Room staff. In this role, the Operating Room Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing the inventory cycle of products in the facility's Operating Room stockroom.

Job Description

The Operating Room Inventory Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Receiving, storing, distributing and tracking of disposable medical/surgical supplies utilized in Operating Room cases
  • Ensuring adequate par levels and controls of the inventory are effective and within set requirements and guidelines to maintain the smooth operations of the supplies workflow
  • Working with the appropriate staff (internal or external) to ensure supplies are available for all procedures
Required Skills
  • 1+ year of related working experience
  • Solid time management and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
