A nonprofit preschool located in Brooklyn,NY is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to fill in for the rest of the school year! The PT who fills this role will work with children, between the ages of 3 and 5, that have various special needs. Job Description

The Physical Therapist is responsible for:

  • Providing screening, evaluating, and providing therapy services as assigned
  • Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and develop the appropriate treatment plans for children
  • Providing consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs
  • Providing information to families regarding their child’s motor development and stimulation
  • Maintaining and making all records and reports available
Required Skills
  • NYS Physical Therapy license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desired Skills
  • Pediatric and school experience
  • Experience with developmental disabilities
